Ladies And Gentleman Movie Review...

Ladies And Gentleman, directed by Siddique and starring Mohanlal in the lead gives a subtle message - that life is all about positive attitude.
Ladies And Gentleman is a light-hearted film with many comic situations. The script as such is half baked. Moreover, the climax is a complete let down. Though the film starts off well, the second half falters and you are unable to make much sense of what director Siddique intended to do.
Few of the scenes in Ladies And Gentleman tends to remind you of Mohanlal's previous films such asHalloAngel John and Innathe Chinthavishayam to name a few. Music by Ratheesh Vegha is unimpressive while cinematography by Satheesh Kurup is average.
Performances
Mohanlal as usual is outstanding, and in fact his drunken acts are hilarious and very convincing. However, the script of Ladies And Gentleman is too weak to help him out in this regard. Debutant Krish J Sathar seems promising and is good in parts. Meera Jasmine fails to deliver this time even though she has a meaty role. Her makeup too looks befitting. Mamta Mohandas does a good job of the role offered to her while Padmapriya and Mithra have nothing concrete to do. The one actor who stands out is Kalabhavan Shajon with his extraordinary talent.
Story
Ladies And Gentleman is based on the IT industry of Kerala. The story revolves around Chandrabose (Mohanlal), a delightful young man and his accidental involvement and influence in the lives of young women around him. The story entwines the lives of four ladies - Anu, Aswathi, Jyothi and Chinnu. When Chandrabose enters their lives, their lives turns topsy turvy. There is a subtle message too - that life is all about positive attitude. Meera Jasmine plays the role of Mohanlal's wife.
Verdict
Ladies And Gentleman will definitely be liked and enjoyed by hardcore fans of Mohanlal.
